Janne Rugland is based in Oslo. She was drawing and painting throughout her whole childhood before she later moved to the UK to study photography and art for three years at Falmouth College of Arts. She moved back to Norway after graduation to start her career as an apprentice, before working with family portraits as a freelance.

By the end of 2008 Janne was assisting the Norwegian fashion and advertising photographer Morten Qvale. She worked with him for two years, and within short order started to get her own jobs.  She now leads a small global studio specializing in fashion, beauty and lifestyle photography.

Janne has a passion and an intuitive drive to tell great and interesting stories in the most beautiful way. Her character of work has an intimate and edgy style. She handles both small- and large-scale assignments throughout Europe, the U.S. and other destinations.

 

Janne Rugland er basert i Oslo. Hun tegnet og malt gjennom hele barndommen før hun senere flyttet til Storbritannia for å studere fotografi og kunst i tre år på Falmouth College of Arts. Hun returnerte til Norge etter studiet for å starte sin karriere som lærling, før hun jobbet med familieportretter som freelance.

 

Ved utgangen av 2008 assisterte Janne den norske mote- og annonseringsfotografen Morten Qvale.
Hun jobbet sammen med ham i to år, og i kort tid etter begynte hun å få sine egne jobber. Hun leder nå et lite globalt studio som spesialiserer seg på mote, skjønnhet og livsstilfotografering. Janne har en lidenskap og en intuitiv driv for å fortelle gode og interessante historier på den vakreste mulige måte og har en intim og edgy stil. Janne arbeider med små og store oppdrag i hele Europa, USA og andre destinasjoner.
