Elin Høyland is a Norwegian photographer whose work has been widely exhibited. In her personal work Høyland is concerned to make the invisible visible; to explore themes of memory, loss, authenticity and entitlement in today’s world. She portrays people through their possessions and the spaces in which they live. Her fascination is for belonging and the everyday; ordinary moments in people’s lives. Høyland seeks to give artistic space to those who do not claim it.
