Dani Waagen Braatveit has a Bachelor degree in Fine Art Photography from Kunsthøgskolen in Bergen, where he also graduated in 2015 with a Masters degree in Fine Art. 

 

His fascination with nature and its complexity is his inspiration and main source of materials that is somehow integrated in most of his work. Through various projects, he strives to use and combine what is collected and observed in nature with different technical photographic methods, to experiment and study what kind of expression these combinations possibly can create. Dani works both with analogue and digital processes. His main photographic tool is the use of Scanography. He currently lives on the West Coast of Norway.

Hans fascinasjon for naturen og dens kompleksitet er hans inspirasjon og hovedkilde for materialer som på en eller annen måte blir integrert i det meste av hans arbeid. Gjennom ulike prosjekter forsøker han å bruke og kombinere det som samles inn og observeres ifra naturen med forskjellige tekniske fotografiske metoder, for å eksperimentere og studere hva slags uttrykk disse kombinasjonene sammen kan skape. Dani jobber både med analoge og digitale prosesser. Hans hovedfotografiske verktøy er bruken av Scanography.
