Adrian Bugge is an Oslo-based photographer who works with his own projects over time. He is a member of the organizations for camera-based artists (FFF), Norwegian Visual Artists (NBK) and the Visual Artists in Oslo and Akershus (BOA). He is also a board member of the artist-driven photo workshop Bjørka, where he has his studio.

 

The pictures presented here are from Adrian's long-term Encroachment project, where he explores how human intervention changes nature. From his debut with a photo from the project at The National Art Exhibition in 2008 until he presented his latest work at the same place in 2017, the Anthropocene-human age has been proposed as a geological epoch. In light of this theory, Adrian will have a separate exhibition at Gallery BOA in August 2018, which includes works from the whole period.

Adrian Bugge er en Oslobasert fotograf som jobber med egne prosjekter over tid. Han er medlem i kunstnerorganisasjonene Forbundet Frie Fotografer (FFF), Norske Billedkunstnere (NBK) og Billedkunstnerne i Oslo og Akershus (BOA). Han er også styremedlem i det kunstnerdrevne fotoverkstedet Bjørka, hvor han har atelier.

 

Bildene som presenteres her er fra Adrians langvarige Inngrep-prosjekt hvor han utforsker hvordan menneskelige inngrep forandrer naturen. Fra han debuterte med et Inngrep-bilde på Høstutstillingen i 2008 til han igjen stilte ut Inngrep-bilder på Høstutstillingen i 2017 har Antropocen – menneskets tidsalder – blitt lansert som en geologisk epoke. I august 2018 skal Adrian ha en separatutstilling på Galleri BOA i Oslo som vil vise arbeider fra hele perioden i lys av denne teorien.
